About us
My name is Michael, an absolute car enthusiast. The 86/BRZ platform is one that I've been meaning to enter for ages, but could not justify spending this amount of money on a 2 door sports car where the only extra passengers I can carry is around my neck. I've previously owned a VA WRX which I loved, moved onto an Alfa Romeo Giulia thinking it was time to grow up, only to return to the Japanese car world 8 months later with the BRZ - which I should have just skipped the Giulia for. My passion runs very deep for this platform and I'm dedicated to providing excellent customer support and engaging car content for all viewers.
MDTV is run by enthusiasts, for enthusiasts. Completely powered by passion for automotive engineering and lumps of metal, fast or slow.
MDTV is an official reseller of Sydney Motorsport Engineering (SME) Turbo Kits, hand made right here in NSW, Australia. SME Turbo Kits are true bolt-on kits, requiring no cutting of the crash bar or welding of the sump unlike some competitors. It is completely engineer friendly in Australia and are really straight forward to install. All SME kits will come with all the hardware needed for a hassle-free install. Mike at SME has been working on these kits for the last 14 years, and has created the best turbo kits for the 86/BRZ platform. His exhausts also sound absolutely amazing.
Parramatta Vehicle Services (PVS) have been working with SME over the last 10+ years to perfect the kit and tunes. The MDTV show car sports SME products and tunes by Tyler at PVS, who can also provide off the shelf (OTS) or flash tunes for international and interstate customers.
MDTV and SME recommend purchasing or booking in for a tune at PVS to maximise gains for all SME kits.
MDTV will also sell other products, but only those that have been tried and tested on one of our show cars.
